The Gallery: I Like What You Can Do With Cherries

The theme for this week's Sticky Fingers Gallery is A Novel Idea. Take a photograph that represents a favourite book.

For me only one book leapt out, it's the one that I've been reading on a daily basis to my two little ones.

If you've read it, you'll know instantly which book I chose.

Not enough of a clue for you?

How about now?

"All gone", said Gander and he dangled the cherries on his wellies".

Yes, it's Panda and Gander: Tutti Frutti by Joyce Dunbar.

We had a jolly afternoon playing with wellies and cherries and then we ate them, the cherries that is, the ones that were still edible.

  1. I thought it might be "The Witches of Eastwick". The cherry scene in the book and film are pretty graphic!

Enjoyed your wellies and cherries though!

  8. We do love our cherries here too! Love the pic with the cherries on the wellies. And the girls often hang them off their ears to make them look like earrings.
