  2. Aaah. Gorgeous. Maybe just a tiny trim to thicken it up? But keep it long. Long hair on boys is great. I only say the thicken it up thing because I never cut my eldest's hair until she was almost 4 and it's still pretty thin. My youngest's I cut much earlier and it's lovely and thick now...

  3. I would cut, but I am old fashioned and think short hair for boys and long hair for girls.

Even so I would definitely trim, as MT says above, it encourages growth.

  4. Very cute!! I wanted to keep toddlers thick blonde curls, but we did cut them all off and he likes it much better! Any girl would be jealous of that hair tho!

  6. Oh so difficult. I would say cut for a boy, but it must be such a wrench!

  7. Don't cut - they don't feel like your tiny little baby once they have their hair cut. :-(

  8. True story: my mum cut off my long baby curls when I was little because someone (probably my grandmother) told her it was 'bad luck' to have baby hair for too long. I kept my son's hair uncut until it reached the point where he could no longer see.

  12. If you're undecided don't do it! That said, child hair grows so quickly. I agree about the thickening up comments. My 15 month old's hair is in his eyes and he has lovely curls - I have the same dilemma! They suddenly look all grown up when it's cut. Award for you at mine.

  13. I guess it depends on the situation. Ask him first if he wants his hair to be cut. If he says no, just don't cut it and if he say yes then go ahead cut it down. But, I am thinking if he really knows what are you trying to do. So I would say it all depends on you. But for me, it looks nice if you cut like an inch of it.
